James Thrush Teaching Advanced Graphics in University of Washington's Game Development Program

SEATTLE, WA - 2006.09.15 -- James Thrush, lead developer and owner of Seattle-based Super X Studios (www.superxstudios.com), has rejoined the University of Washington's Game Development Certificate Program to teach Advanced Graphics in the four quarter game development series.

The next program series starts on September 28, 2006. The Advanced Graphics course is the second in the series, which also consists of Introduction and Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, and Networking and Multiplayer.

The program targets software development professionals wishing to make the transition to the rapidly growing game development field. The Advanced Graphics course covers topics ranging from scene graph and resource management to advanced special effects like HLSL shaders, particle systems, and high-dynamic range lighting.
